Real name: Mohamed Hamri
Moroccon painter and author (b.August 27, 1932, Ksar el-Kebir, Morocco - d.August 29, 2000), who was befriended by the writer Paul Bowles and Brion Gysin. He also developed a close relationship with Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones. His uncle was one of the leaders of the Master Musicians of Jajouka and Hamri was kind of managing them until his death in 2000.
