A British indie rock band from Eastbourne, East Sussex. Forming in 1996 under the name Beachy Head, the trio renamed themselves to Easyworld - inspired by lyrics in their song 'Better Ways To Self Destruct' - after recording a number of demos. Originally signed to Fierce Panda and later Jive Records the group released 2 albums - This Is Where I Stand & Kill The Last Romantic - as well as the mini-album Better Ways To Self Destruct, before disbanding in 2004 after the label was bought out with BMG (who dropped the band due to a lack of confidence).
David "Dav" Ford would go on to create a long running solo career where he would on occasion perform acoustic versions of select Easyworld songs on stage.
