John Betsch

American jazz drummer, percussionist and composer
Born 8 October 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida

Played in organ trios. In 1975 he released an album as a leader and moved to New York City. He played with Marion Brown, Paul Jeffrey, Max Roach, Jeanne Lee and Henry Threadgill. He was member of the groups of Abdullah Ibrahim (1977-79), Archie Shepp (1980-82), Roger Dawson (1983), and others
