Swedish musician, composer and fiddler from Frösön in Jämtland,born November 7, 1960.

He started playing songs on violin around 1980 in parallel with experimenting with alternative tunes on a 12-string guitar. He primarily plays fiddler songs from Jämtland and Härjedalen, where the song legacy of the great fiddler Lapp-Nils Jonsson (1804-1870) and the old dance music of his grandfather Nicanor Lindqvist (1899-1966) play a central role. Since 1984, he has worked with an extensive concert, theater and course activities, participated in a variety of ensembles in a number of different genres. He is a renowned instrumentalist and dance fiddler, both innovative and traditional, on violin and a number of other string instruments. In 2009 he was awarded the Lapp-Nils medal.
