Mario Traversa

(* 1912 in Bologna, † 1997) was an Italian violinist and conductor. In Germany, together with the brothers Eberhard and Walter Schoener, he founded a salon orchestra for light music, with which he performed in the 1930s and 1940s. From the late 1950s he was conductor of the spa orchestra in Bad Pyrmont.
