Blues and country rock guitarist and singer, born in Ashlyn, Kentucky in 1953. Wills was a longtime resident of the Texas Gulf Coast, moving to Galveston, Texas in 1957 and living in Texas City, Bay City, League City and Kemah before returning to Galveston in the late 1960s. He has also recently lived in New Orleans, Louisiana.
He has played with bands including The Undertakers, The Shadows, Bert Wills & the Country Cadillacs, The Texas Sweat Band and Bert Wills & The Cryin’ Shames. He also worked as a session musician at Sugar Hill Studios.
