Italian pianist and composer, born December 12, 1685 in Pistoia, and died February 7, 1743 in Pistoia.Virtually nothing is known about Giustini. He published a set of sonatas in Florence in 1732 entitled Sonate da cimbalo di piano, e forte, detto volgarmente di martellati, his sole claim to fame as the first music written specifically for the piano.
