Gösta Hägglöf

Real name: Sven Gösta Gunnar Hägglöf

Swedish record producer, jazz musician and chairman of Svenska jazzklubbarnas riksförbund (now the Svenska jazzriksförbundet) 1962–1965 and 1967–1968, born April 30, 1934 in Gustav Vasa, Stockholm, died March 8, 2009 in Viksjö, Stockholm.

He was the owner of Classic Jazz Productions with the labels Kenneth Records (2), focusing on new recordings of Swedish traditional jazz, Fenix (2), with reissues of Swedish popular music, and Ambassador Records (11), with reissues of Louis Armstrong.

For many years was also manager of Kustbandet, a small big band that played and plays a repertoire that largely comes from Duke Ellington's earlier years.
