CHIILDREN is an industrial doom duo pulling inspiration from black metal, splatter-punk fiction, and dramatic film scores. Chris Zeischegg and Chad Fjerstad met in 2010 when Zeischegg had sex with Fjerstad's girlfriend in an adult film. The two aimed to start a traditional black metal band, but failed to find a drummer, so they taught themselves how to program electronic backing beats instead. Thus, Chiildren was born.
