German trombone player, born 30 April 1926 in West Africa, raised in Hamburg, Germany, died 09 April 2011. He studied trombone at the Stuttgart University of Music; for 25 years he was a trombonist with Erwin Lehn (SDR), Harald Banter (WDR) and Kurt Edelhagen (WDR). Since 1957 trombonist, keyboard player, percussionist in cologne studios, arrangements and compositions for all formations.
