American jazz guitarist, violinist, singer, arranger and producer.
He played with : Terence Holder, Andy Kirk, Alphonse Trent, George E. Lee, Chick Stevens, Nat "King" Cole, Count Basie, "Four Shades of Rhythm", Jay McShann and many others.

Born : February 22, 1908 in Muskogee, Oklahoma, USA
Died : April 25, 2004 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA

Not to be confused with Claude Williams (2), a trumpet player and also a producer.
