American Brutal Death Metal band from West Orange, New Jersey. Formed in 1991, Taste of Fear was formed by Daryl Kahan, singer of the hardcore punk band Citizens Arrest. The band combined Brutal Death Metal with Grindcore and Crust punk. Taste of Fear’s self-titled full-length debut came in 1994, and was their only full-length release. Taste of Fear contributed to half a dozen split releases before breaking up in 2009.
