Real name: William Geoffrey Steer

British guitarist, born December 3rd, 1969. A founding member of death metal band Carcass. Also played with grindcore pioneers Napalm Death during their first period of stability (from "Scum" to "Mentally Murdered"). After Carcass split-up in 1995, Steer abandoned the heavy metal world and pursued other musical interests and started a more traditional rock/blues band Firebird and later also played with Gentlemans Pistols and Angel Witch. Since 2013 his main band has again been Carcass.
