Ștefan Niculescu
Romanian composer and educator, born 31st July 1927 in Moreni, died 22nd January 2008. Creator of the Săptămâna Internațională a Muzicii Noi festival in 1991, he is widely considered to be one of the most influential artists in Romanian contemporary music.
