Real name: سعاد محمد المصري (Suʾād Muḥammad al-Maṣrī)
Souad Muhammed (1933 - 2011) was an Egyptian singer. She was born in Beirut to a Lebanese father and Egyptian mother. She took the stage name Fairuz. She was married to the Egyptian writer محمد علي فتوح (Mohamed Ali Futouh) for 15 years and نهاد فتوح (Nouhad Futouh) is their daughter.
