            Catalina Carrasco
Panamanian Tipico folkloric musician, best known as “Catita de Panamá”.  She was born in La Chorrera in April 30, 1919, but moved to Ocu, Herrera Province, where she lived and died in November 5, 2012. She started singing with Yin Carrizo, one of the most important performers of Panamanian folkloric music, Leonidas Cajar and Los Hermanos Cruz. Unfortunately, she retired from music after having falling off stage while performing in 1984.
