The Mighty Mohawks

Canadian country band, founded in the 1960s by George Hill, a member of the Kahnawake Mohawk Territory in Quebec. The band had various lineups. At the time of their album debut for Arc Records, it consisted of Hill, Betty Benoit (Princess Moonbeam) of Clarenceville, Quebec, Wally Moon of Restigouche, Quebec, and "Boots" Bernie Goguen of Richabucto, New Brunswick. By the time of their next album two years later, Moon was replaced by Vincent Hickey, who would remain for many years.
