Dj Edwin was a well known reggaeton producer who was instrumental in the popularization of the genre. Dj Edwin produced numerous albums, including the Little Boys From Da Underground Vol. 2 & 3, Power Reggae, Ivy Queen’s En Mi Imperio and numerous other albums. In 1997, Dj Edwin had the opportunity to debut his own album, titled Da’ Ridims. Artists including Daddy Rhymes, Yoyo & Duende, The Stylee, and many others appeared on his production. Dj Edwin is often well known for working alongside famous reggaeton producer Dj Nelson. Dj Edwin frequently worked with Dj Nelson on numerous albums. In most cases, if Dj Nelson was credited with producing an album, Dj Edwin would often be seen there as well.
