Caesar & Cleo were a duo that worked primarily in Los Angeles, CA, playing record hops and bowling alleys from 1963-1964. They got their name from the big budget movie "Cleopatra" which starred Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. Who knew then, that they would hit the big time as Sonny & Cher in the summer of 1965.
