"Drinking Champagne," a country song that she knew would also appeal to Hawaiʻi audience, was Myra English's signature song, but her repertoire was large, with the large majority of the songs she performed being Hawaiian, but with a mix of country and hapa-haole (Hawaiʻi-themed but with English lyrics). 2001: Winner of a Nā Hōkū Hanohano Lifetime Achievement Award under the auspices of the Hawaiʻi Academy of Recording Arts.
