Rhonda is a New Zealand singer of Maori descent, born 31 October 1951 in Taumarunui. She sang all styles including pop, country, classical and Maori. She was one of New Zealand's best known singers in the 1980's. She later moved to Hawaii, where she performed at the Royal Hawaiian Hotel and where she died 28 September 2007 in Honolulu, USA
