The story of Andrúm
Andrúm is an Icelandic band formed in 2003 by Ragnar Benediktsson. The band plays post-rock music with influences from bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Sigur Rós. The band quit in 2008 after having released two full-length albums, Gott Andrúm (2005) and Andvakar (2008).

The line-up
Through its' lifespan Andrúm went through a number of changes in the line-up with Ragnar (Guitar) being the only consistent member from the beginning. His cousin Arnar (Bass) who formed the band with him quit in 2005 but joined the band again in 2006. It seemed quite hard for Ragnar to find the right group of people to make music with but he found what he was looking for when Birkir (Guitar and Keyboards), Magnús (Drums) and Jóna Palla (Vocals) joined the band in 2005. Together they were able to craft their own unique sound with Jóna Palla leading the way with her voice.
