American songwriter, singer, author and publisher.
Born 20 June 1937 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, USA.
He was educated at the University of Tulsa and the Mable Horsey School of Music as well as private voice study.
He charted 9 times as a songwriter and once as a singer in the U.S. and the U.K. between 1959 and 1977. His singing of "Here Comes Summer" (a song he also wrote) in 1959 landed at #14 on the U.S. and #1 on the U.K. charts. "Almost There" by Andy Williams #67 U.S., #2 U.K. 1964) was also penned by Keller along with frequent collaborator Gloria Shayne (Baker); the song is often misattributed to songwriter Jack Keller but copyrights show Jerry Keller.
