Star 69 is an alternative guitar-pop band, formed in London in the mid-90's, however Julie Daniels is a native of Los Angeles. Over the course of 1996, the group released two independent singles and performed at the Reading Festival before signing with Radioactive Records. By the fall, they relocated to Los Angeles, where they recorded their debut album, Eating February, with producer Don Smith, which was released early in 1997.
