Finnish folk band, formed at the Department of Folk Music of the Sibelius Academy in the mid-1980s by Sinikka Järvinen, Markku Lepistö, Marianne Maans, and Pekka Pentikäinen. In the early 1990s, the line-up was expanded to seven, and its sound broadened from traditional pentatonic to fiddler music, Finnish accordion polkas, and new pieces written by band members. The band was retired in the mid-1990s.
