"N.I.O" (short for "New Intelligent Organism"), a side project of Israeli psytrance producer Crownick (Gilad Arama). Gilad was born in Israel in 1978, with more than two decades of experience as a professional drummer in various metal bands, and over a decade of experience as a dark full-on psytrance artist, Gilad takes his creations to a more tender layers intricate free-style rhythm beneath haunting sounds capes that will carry your mind away. When he was at the age of 5 years old, his father introduce him to the world of: "Black Sabbath", "Led Zeppelin", "Deep Purple" and "Santana". Then he knew he wanted to be a musician and a drummer above all. Growing up in the 80's he was fascinated from electronic beats and sounds, and started to collect music and performing as a DJ in his school parties. At the earlier 90's when he got his first Personal Computer he started to learn how to create his own beats and sounds. After graduating from school as a sound technician in 2005, Gilad set to work on his musical acts, simultaneously Performing and releasing Psytrance and metal albums. "N.I.O" comes to share things that are hidden within our spirit, things that can be connect and explain when words stops and the music carry your mind away.
