Zé Cabra was born in Macedo de Cavaleiro, Portugal (25th June 1965). After twenty years living abroad in France, he returned to Portugal to dedicate himself to music. His first album was produced by Ricardo Landum, with music by Luis Filipe Reis and lyrics by Alex Vandenberg. He became famous after getting radioplay in 2001, by Nuno Markl, at Rádio Comercial. His major success was the 1997's "Deixei tudo por ela".
