The Zara's

Spanish garage-beat band from Tafalla (Navarra). Active since 1956 as teen group. Success touring in Frace and later in American military bases throughout Europe, moved to Germany in mid 1960s, they also moved in 1969 to Hotel Sahara in Las Vegas for five years. Disbanded in 1976.
Six brothers band (sons of Vicente Zaratiegui (played with Los Macanudos) and María Luísa Oficialdegui, the "Gregoricos" family):
Inocencia "Anita" Zaratiegui (bass, accordion, keyboards, guitar) b.1948 - d. 2007
Jesus Zaratiegui (drums, guitar, keyboards) b. 1944 - d. 2003
Kim Zaratiegui (lead vocals)
Paquita "Kitty" Zaratiegui (keyboards) b. 1942
Marino Zaratiegui (guitar, keyboards, sax) b. 1941
Vicente "Toto" Zaratiegui (lead vocals) b. 1946
Had also other female singers, German Krista, later in 1967 English Kim Roberts, later in 1968 English Vivian Forman alias Julie Grant.
