short-lived Japanese thrash/speed metal band from Osaka, formed in December 1987. They broke up in the early 1990. Their singer Nov (ex-Paranoia (22)) later joined Aion (3) in replacement of their previous singer Hisayoshi (Rosenfeld) in the late 1989, then Volcano (10) in 1999. The Z-Sect drummer Sheen was in a fairly unknown band called Beet-Sweet with Heath (X Japan, ex-Paranoia, Majestic Isabelle, Sweet Death, Media Youth, etc), Lüna from Z-Sect who went on to form Eins:Vier in 1990, and Yoshitusgu also from Eins:Vier.
