Tony Conjugacion got his start as a kid when singer Melveen Leed introduced "Little Anthony" to her live shows. His love of Hawaiiana, the hula, and 'olelo (language) lead him to find teachers he could benefit from including Vickie I'i Rodrigues, along with kumu hula (hula teachers) Darrell Lupenui and Maiki Aiu Lake. He would eventually start his own halau (hula dance group), Halau Na Wainohia while strengthening all aspects of his music and songwriting.

Conjugacion is the brother of Hawai'i-based singer Brother Noland and have recorded two albums together.
