Audie Ashworth

Real name: Aubrey Reginald Ashworth

American A&R executive and producer.
He start his career as radio dee jay in local stations (WKSR, WBMC and WKDA).
He join the publishing company Moss Rose in 1965, initially as arranger and, from 1967, as record executive. In late 60s started his collaboration with Snuff Garrett and he was hired as A&R executive at Capitol Records. Ashworth was heavily involved with J.J. Cale’s first eight albums production, essentially becoming his manager as well. In 1976, he named his own recording studio Crazy Mama's Studios.
