Dutch music teacher, oboe-player and conductor, born in Thorn (Limburg, the Netherlands) in 1945. Well known for his work with symphonic windbands. Became principal conductor for Koninklijke Militaire Kapel in 1986, a post he resigned from in 1996. He also teached symphonic wind band / fanfare band conducting at the Maastricht Conservatory and is a well respected adjudicator at national and international music competitions.
