Trio formed in 1966 by Irish guitarist and songwriter Rory Gallagher (1948-1995), Eric Kitteringham (bass) and Norman Damery (drums) (Eric and Norman were replaced in 1968 by Richard McCracken and John Wilson (3)). Taste has recorded three studio albums and two live, including the memorable "Live at the Isle of Wight" in 1970. In the same year the trio disbanded and Rory Gallagher began a successful career as a soloist.
