Agency-X is a Swedish - American synthpop duo that began collaborating in 2001. The band mates work separately in studios in San Francisco, California and the port town of Karlshamn, Sweden, and trade music files over the Internet.

Their sound is very much like that of synthpop bands from the 1980's such as Yazoo and Erasure.

The band was credited as "The Agency" on the compilation "Nobody's Diary - A Tribute To Yazoo".
