Swedish reeds player (saxophone, clarinet), born November 29, 1969 in Kristinehamn.He grew up in Lidköping. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm 1989–93. During his student years he played with jazz bands in Stockholm, for example Fredrik Norén Band and Lina Nyberg Group.
Fredrik Ljungkvist is the son of saxophonist Håkan Ljungkvist and married to Lina Nyberg.
