Real name: Plinio Chiesa

Chiplin is the main pseudonym used by Mr. Plinio Chiesa, Italian sound-engineer, musician and composer, born in Milan, Italy, on 27th July 1941. He played accordion, guitar, piano and keyboards. Between late 70's and early 80's, Chiplin recorded several instrumental tracks, and registered them with SIAE (Italian Composers and Editors Association). He played every single instrument, then mixed them together in studio. Such tracks were meant to be used as background music for short movies or documentaries produced by Italian television. He died in Pioltello (MI) on 6th February, 2016.
