Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Lozano is considered one of the best salsa singers for his graceful voice. Since childhood his mother saw in him the interest of becoming a musician. His singing career began in school, participating in all the events that were held there. He received his first singing lessons at "Casa de la Cultura Germán Lira" and reached a fairly popular radio program at the time, "Rumbos, Coplas y Canciones" led by the great Venezuelan singer Simón Díaz.
