Mickey Nicolas
Real name: René Eugene Michel Nicolas
René Nicolas, better known as Mickey NICOLAS was born on the 18th of January 1926 in Laon (North of France). This composer and conductor studied the saxophone with Marcel Mule at the Paris Conservatory. As a composer he is completely self-taught and since 1944 member of the SACEM (French Composers Association). From 1977 to 1990 he was assistant-conductor at the famous Paris Cabaret "Le Lido". He composed some ten film scores, a lot of show and ballet music and many songs.
