Australian actor, director & writer (b. Melbourne 5 Oct., 1923 -Prominent in the Melbourne theatre world of the late 1950s. Spent some years in the UK (1946-1954 & 1961-1965). Active in Sydney productions in the late 1960s. Later lived in Ireland, but returned to Australia periodically.
