Biography
Bernhard Lewkovitch
Danish organist, choir conductor and composer, born 27 May 1927 in Copenhagen. Founded Schola Gregoriana of Copenhagen and Schola Cantorum Copenhagen in the 1950's, which all the way up to the end of the 1980's were practically the only choirs in Scandinavia devoted to and specializing in the polyphonic choral music of the Renaissance.
