The Kabyle group Agraw (formed in 1979) consisted of two Kabyles (Algerians): Boudjema Semaouni and Hassen Zermani. The duo only released two albums before going their separate ways in 1984. Semaouni Boudjema continued recording, replacing Hassen Z. (Aka Takfarinas) with Karim Tizouiar but finally went solo in 1986. He kept the name of the band, and became known as Boudjema Agraw.
