Real name: Vera Rowley

U.S. country singer and bass and guitar player.
Part of the Rowley Trio, along with her brother Jerry Rowley, and Jerry’s wife Evelyn Rowley. They performed together, separately and with other performers, most notably as the backup band for Johnny Horton. Signed by Fabor Robison, the owner of Abbott and Fabor Records. Dido’s 1954 release as a single artist on Fabor was “The Hands of Time” b/w “Don't Forget to Bring Me Back Your Love”. She also sang as Dido Rowley and the Troupers.
