Montezuma’s Revenge was an eclectic band from Spring Valley, San Diego playing what they called "Bionic Bluegrass". Formed in 1973, they released three albums on their homegrown "Prune Records". One year they received an award for best rock, bluegrass and country band at three separate contests.
