Constrito is a straight edge experimental hardcore band from São Paulo, Brazil. Their manage to combine grindcore, crust, thrash, sludge/doom and even post-rock influences to create a unique sound. Constrito was founded by Pierre Kerchove (guitar) and Gabriel Godoy Castanho (drums) in 1996, when they released two demo tapes: “Nem ordem, Nem progresso”, and "Constrito", the band split up in 2007.
