Juan José "Cheito" Quiñones, Puerto Rico, August 29, 1942 great trumpeter, singer and backing vocalist. He has worked with almost all the great salsa luminaries. He was part of Conjunto Canayon in the 80's in Puerto Rico. He always accompanies Gloria Estefan on backing vocals and is currently the lead singer of Edwin Bonilla's orchestra. He has also done backing vocals to other artists such as the Mexican salsa singer Fabby (Fabiana Cantillo), with the Cuban Willy Chirinos, with the Puerto Rican Jay Lozada (brother of rapper Luis Armando Lozada "Vico C"), with Kiuldret "La Princesa de la Salsa " and many others.
