Singer, songwriter, and guitarist. Originally from Billings, Montana, where he played in the band Beat Nothings. He later moved to Austin, Texas and Nashville, Tennessee, as leader of rockabilly band Million Sellers. Now based in Bozeman, Montana, where he owns record store The Wax Museum.
Kels was a long-term DJ in Nashville, Tennessee, as part of the "Hipbilly Jamboree" show on radio stations WRVU 91.1 FM and WXNA 101.5 FM. Since 2018, he has been a DJ at Montana station KGLT.
