Very popular South African singer. Started singing at 12 and her first album 'Teenage Time' appeared when she was 16. Sang in The Harold Boy Band, Johnny Kongos & the G-Men, and The Zombies, which later changed their name to Four Jacks and a Jill with Glenys as the Jill. Also started singing in Afrikaans in the 1970s which widened her marked and increased her popularity. Produced a few Christian gospel albums after becoming a born again Christian.

Also acted in the movies 'Sell A Million' (1975), 'Shamwari' (1982) and 'Jy's Lieflik Vanaand' (1962).
