Formed in 1973 as a british pub band. A one-hit-wonder with the single 'Little Does She Know' in 1976.
Disbanded in 1977, and re-united in 1985.

The Kursaal was a renowned ballroom on the seafront at Southend-on-Sea in Essex. Each year The Kursaal would be represented in the town carnival by a large novelty train, known as "The Kursaal Flyer". It is this that inspired the name for the group.
