Mind of God was born in February of 2013. The project is the brainchild of Jason A. Pizzolato, who was the rhythm guitarist & co-founder of the infamous New Orleans death metal band Apostasy (8) in the 1990s. Influences include Scorn, Coil, Scientist, Godflesh, Throbbing Gristle, & early SPK. Several MOG albums have been released by various record labels, & the project's videos can be seen on YouTube & Vimeo. Mind of God has received impressive accolades from Tristan Shone (Author & Punisher), John Everall (Tactile), members of Eyehategod, Loincloth, & Nine Inch Nails, as well as Tironas Magazine, Heathen Harvest Periodical, Kalteldur Webzine, The Sound Not The Word Webzine, & more.
