Dave Teig
Real name: David Teig
Radio announcer, producer and audio engineer, born on 27 July 1928 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. As a student at Brooklyn technical high school produced radio broadcasts for Al Weintraub and Dan Cronin. Subsequently started his career as announcer in Petersburg, Virginia in December 1947 and worked for a variety of East Coast stations such as WILK (Pennsylvania) and WJIL (West Virginia). In 1958 he returned to New York and was offered a job as production manager in Weintraub's and Cronin's Bell Sound Studios, eventually becoming general manager. He stayed here until 1974, when he became manager of Atlantic Studios (until 1981).
